College Basketball Betting – Buckeyes Look To Remain Perfect Tuesday Night

All eyes will be on No. 2 Ohio State when they take to the hard court at the Value City Arena as part of a busy night in college basketball. The Buckeyes have opened the year with 10 straight wins, eight of which have been clinched in front of their home fans.

They’ll look to extend their winning streak and remain perfect when they take on North Carolina-Ashville, the main event on a busy Tuesday card that will feature seven top 25 teams in action.

North Carolina-Asheville Bulldogs @ Ohio State Buckeyes

Tuesday, 8:30 PM ET

South Carolina State was supposed to represent the biggest challenge that they No. 2 Buckeyes would have faced early this season, but Jared Sullinger and company barely broke a sweat in a 79-57 victory on Saturday. Sullinger finished with 30 points and a career-high 19 rebounds in the win, as Ohio State opened a 21-point lead at the half and wound up cruising to an easy victory. It’s unlikely that they’ll get much greater of a challenge from North Carolina-Asheville, who has been outrebounded by an averaged of 18.5 in its two losses to ranked opponents this season. Sullinger and company should have no trouble controlling the pace down low, and this one could get out of hand in a hurry.

College Basketball Betting Pick: Ohio State

UNLV Rebels @ Kansas State Wildcats

Tuesday, 9:00 PM ET

The Rebels and Wildcats both suffered losses to unranked opponents last week, but will have the tough task of getting back on track against one another on Tuesday night. The Wildcats had one of their worst offensive performances in years when they shot under 28-percent against the Gators, as no one other than Jacob Pullen was able to reach double figures. The Rebels didn’t do much better, who lost consecutive games to fall out of the top 25 for the first time since November 22nd. The Wildcats get the edge in this one at home.

College Basketball Betting Pick: Kansas State -3.5

USC Trojans @ Tennessee Volunteers

Tuesday, 7:00 PM ET

The No. 18-ranked Tennessee Volunteers will look to rebound from consecutive losses when they welcome USC to the Thompson-Boling Arena on Tuesday night. Tennessee has been far too conservative in the past week, and head coach Bruce Pearl has asked his boys to do a better job of taking the chances when they are there. The Volunteers have five games left before he serves as eight-game suspension for pending NCAAB violations, and will need to sort out quite a bit before then.

College Basketball Betting Pick: Tennessee -8

Wagner Seahawks @ Texas A&M Aggies

Tuesday, 8:00 PM ET

The No. 24 Texas A&M Aggies will look to extend their winning streak to eight games this Tuesday when they take on Wagner. The Aggies have survived a couple of close calls in the past couple of weeks, but will need to play much better when Big 12 play gets underway, with a list of corrections they will need to begin making on Tuesday night.
